Byte Clothing is a small apparel company founded in 2010 by UC Berkeley students, Wook and Edward Lee. They specialize in selling high-quality hoodies that are altered to look like dinosaurs—providing a fun alternative to the typical hood out there. After a steady increase in demand, their operations are now based out of Palo Alto where they continue to create their hoodies in a handcrafted manner, but on a much larger scale.

Kicks Sole Provider

Kicks Sole Provider is a retail shoe store based in Larchmont, Los Angeles. It specializes in selling hip, fun, and hard-to-find sneakers. As the Los Angeles Times described it, “Not as terrifying as some rare sneaker stores, but still way more interesting than Foot Locker.”

Kicks Sole Provider owns and operates both an online and brick-and-mortar store where interested customers are able to come in and try on a few pairs. Kicks also does a lot for the community by participating in art events and supporting local artists.

Recently re-launched in 2010 with the new World of Ubiki series and its first Safari line, Ubiki continues to appeal to the young and young art heart with a focus on pure colors and simple forms.
